Week 14

This week, Nara and I assisted Sheryl in rendering 8 CG shots in Unreal Engine. It was quite a challenging process for us, as we're still unfamiliar with setting up the camera and importing image sequence plates. We had to bring in the animation and assets from Maya, along with the image sequence of the live-action actor with a transparent background. The workflow involved many steps and presented several technical challenges.

Thankfully, our lecturer, Mr. Gary, helped us when troubles arise, and Sheryl provided us with detailed notes and was very supportive throughout the process. With more time and practice, I believe I’ll become more confident and comfortable with each step.

Meanwhile, Lynn has completed one of the 2D animated flashback shots. Our team is aiming to finish everything by next Wednesday, 03/04, and hand over the videos to the BM team for post-production.
